Theo nguồn tham khảo, Moringa oleifera is an ancient tree that is historically known to possess numerous medicinal qualities. The purpose of this article is to familiarize nurses with the use of Moringa oleifera in traditional medicine, present the findings of evidence-based studies, and provide implications for clinical practice and further research. Moringa oleifera is an important tropical food plant that seems to have great nutritional, therapeutic, industrial, agricultural, and socioeconomic value. Dietary consumption of its parts and preparations is encouraged by several organizations, health food enthusiasts, and other specialists as a strategy of personal health preservation and self-medication in the treatment of various diseases.
It was thought that the moringa contains different anti-nutritional factors, such as tannins, phytates, oxalates and cyanide, which may affect normal digestion and metabolism of nutrients in animals. In moringa, tannins and phytates are 12 and 21 g kg-1 of DM, respectively, which can be neutralized by different feed processing techniques, including chopping, socking, heat steaming, and fermentation with beneficial organisms. Considering the health benefit effects of moringa, it is a unique plant [2].
The results of our study on the effects of Moringa oleifera on platelet count are also of significant interest. The meta-analysis reveals that Moringa oleifera can significantly increase platelet count (SMD: 3.07, 95% CI: 2.77-3.37). It is well-established that platelets are involved not only in hemostasis but also in the release of various cytokines, contributing to both innate and adaptive immune responses. Therefore, the regulatory effect of Moringa oleifera on platelets may enhance their immune [3].
Câu thẩm định về đường huyết
Moringa oleifera (M. oleifera) has been suggested as medication in the prevention or treatment of diabetes, but there is no convincing evidence of a causal relation between moringa and decreased blood sugar levels in humans. The purpose of this scoping review is to examine the effects of Moringa oleifera on blood glucose levels in rats and humans.
